Chris Allen is a Senior Adviser to the European Policy Centre and a Senior Fellow at the Global Federation of Competitive Councils. He was previously the European Commission’s Economic Representative in Athens during the economic crisis (2015-24), playing an important role in ensuring the completion of the Greek crisis adjustment program. He now works on EU industrial, health and technology policy. He is particularly interested in mental health and aging issues. He is currently working on a project to identify behavioural factors and other interventions that could reduce brain aging.
