Dr. Eng. Antonis Peppas is an Assistant Professor at NTUA, in the field of energy and environmental optimisation technologies applied to metallurgical industries. He has extensive research experience in decarbonisation technologies for industrial processes and sustainability analysis (LCA, LCC, sLCA) and he supervises in more than 20 years in a Hydrogen Living Lab (Lavrion Technological Park). He is now coordinating three competitive research projects (20M€ funding) addressing process efficiency by integrating H2 into industry and carbon transformation into e-methanol, ensuring in parallel urban-industrial symbiosis. He has been appointed by European Commission’s (DG-MOVE) in two expert groups, and he is coordinating the task for H2 technologies.
