Panagiotis Tsonis

Deputy CEO at Piraeus Port Authority

Mr. Panagiotis Tsonis is a graduate of the Department of Civil Engineering at the Polytechnic School of the University of Patras and holds a Master’s degree in the Organization and Administration of Public Services, Public Organizations & Enterprises from the University of Peloponnese.
He has many years of experience as a Civil Engineer and has served in leadership positions in both the private sector (construction companies) and the public sector. From 2019 to 2023, he held the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Patras Port Authority.
Mr. Tsonis has also served as Vice-President of the Delegation of the Technical Chamber of Greece, President of the Association of Civil Engineers of Achaia, and member of the Governing Committee of the Technical Chamber of Greece / TDE. He is also a member of the ELOT/TE 20 Technical Committee and of the National Accreditation Council.
In July 2023, he was appointed Deputy CEO of PPA S.A.
